Business Intelligence software is vitally important to delivering public sector evidence based decision making and obligations for open data transparency. Producing management information from raw data is always a challenge, because raw data is rarely in the required format, timing, mode of use, and often needs to be correlated with a range of other sources of data to be useful in decision making.
